Spirit of Yule
~ In Celebration of Yule, December 21st ~

The feminine spirit of Yule stands before a decorative arch
as she holds the newborn Sun God.  He offers hope of
light overcoming the darkness, warmth overcoming cold.
She wears the traditional holiday colors, a headpiece of
holly and stands in a bed of evergreen and pine cones
as tiny snowflakes swirl around a tree crowned with ice.
