Announcing our First Annual Costume Contest!  As many of you in Jessica's local area of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan already know, she owns a lovely shop at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.  Last year, we were lucky enough to purchase the shop next to ours as well, so that we will be expanding our space this year!  To celebrate, we are holding our first ever Jessica Galbreth costume contest!  Festival goers may dress up as one of Jessica's faeries or goddesses the last Saturday of faire, September 27th.  Jessica will be there in person signing, and she and her staff will choose the winner of the contest on site.  The winner will recieve a Limited Edition Jessica Galbreth art book ($150 value!) FREE!  They will also have their photo posted here for a year with full credits.  Read on for rules!

Rules & Tips for Entering

1) Entrants must be able to attend (in person) the Michigan Renaissance Festival (www.michrenfest.com) specifically on Saturday, September 27th, 2008.  Come to our shop, booth #542 near the fairy fountain, to enter and win!  We're sorry, but we will only be choosing a winner from the people on hand on that date only!

2) The winner will be chosen from those in attendance and that winner will recieve a $150 Leatherbound Limited Edition Jessica Galbreth art book for free (as well as their picture with full credits posted here on our web site).

3) We will be looking for the person who has dressed MOST like a character in one of Jessica's paintings.  We love all fairy costumes, but we will only choose a winner that has dressed up specifically as one of Jessica's fairies.  So, when making or assembling your costume, please follow the painting very closely to increase your chances of winning!

4) Most of all, have fun with it!  Test those sewing skills and come out and play with us!

5) We will be taking lots of photos, and will post them here on our web site!
